Oh my God!, I am really so excited now because the long awaited movie Isoken is about to be released. Written, produced and directed by Jade Osiberu, Isoken tells the story of self discovery that explores cultural expectations, racial stereotypes and the bonds that unite families, in touching, dramatic and sometimes funny ways.
The star studded movie stars;the talented Tina Mba alongside Dakore Akande, Funke Akindele, Joseph Benjamin, Damilola Attoh, Lydia Forson, Patrick Doyle among others."Isoken" is the first featured film by Osiberu, who is also popular for shows like "Skinny Girl in Transit," "Gidi Up," and "Rumour Has It." If
you haven't watched any of these series then I'm sorry to say that you
are really missing out. I really hope this movie keeps me on the edge of
my seat like Skinny Girl in Transit did because Mide is absolutely
heart eyes and the love-hate-relationship between Mide and Tiwa was fun
to watch(still waiting for the season 4, somebody please tell the
producers to hurry up with this thing, they wan make we die before they
release am?)
If you're still trying to get over the thrills The Wedding Party gave you then Isoken is one to watch because, I mean, who doesn't want to watch a good movie that not only entertains you but also educates you? I don't know why I'm so excited for this movie but something tells me that it's going to be the bomb, so if you haven't made plans to watch this movie, better start hurrying to the cinemas to buy your tickets. You might even see me the day it's released in the cinema at the front row seat(are these the best seats in the cinema though?) with my ticket tightly clutched in my hand and spotting the widest grin.
